3-Card Reading for E.P.

E.P. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” E.P. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are three  members of the Major Arcana in this reading, so, the context for these insights is E.P.’s  soul’s agenda for this lifetime rather than her/his everyday life. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the Fool, who bears the numeral O, a symbol of the Void, the repository from which all manifestation arises. The Universe has assembled all the cooperative components of your dream, and all you have to do is step off the cliff and commit to owning that dream for the sleeves of your garment to turn into wings so that you can fly. This card carries the message, “Follow your dream; you will be sustained.” This has already taken place, E.P.

The spotlight is now on the High Priestess, the gift of knowledge. When this card appears, it means you already have all the answers you seek inside of you. This suggests you stop searching outside of yourself and focus within. You must get yourself to a calm, quiet, steady, balanced place, free of distractions, where you can access and rely on your own knowing.

The spotlight is moving toward the Devil, all the reasons why and why not that pop up in resistance to moving forward.  (I remind you that Facebook does not permit pictures of cards that depict nudity, so a substitute picture has been inserted.) Here are all the excuses, vices, and addictions that were put in place to help you feel better, to cope with your life. When this card shows up, it is time to simply (yeah, right) lift the chains off your neck and take back the power to lead your life instead of giving away your power to the situation to lead and control you. It’s time to stop playing the victim or even caring what anyone else thinks.

The summary card is the five of wands, the freedom to make choices as far as your skills and talents are concerned. It looks like everyone else is wearing play clothes, but you have on a hat. You are keenly aware that you are different from the rest of the group, and right about now, you are feeling somewhat picked on. You wonder if this was such a good decision to play with this group of ruffians, and you doubt that you are making a positive difference in the energies at play. This card shows up to affirm that you are making a huge difference. Some members of the group are so inspired that they may choose to wear a hat the next time this group gets together. Moreover, you are proving that you can take it as well as dish it out. Just hang in there a bit longer and all will be well.

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.

3-Card Reading for C.S.

C.S. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” C.S. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two cups in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on C.S.’s feelings, emotions, relationships, and psychic abilities.  Because there is just one member of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is C.S.’s everyday life rather than her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the six of cups. Love is all around you. It’s time to take off the gloves and be open to receiving the love that is being offered so that you can grow and thrive. You have put a barrier and/or filter in place by wearing the gloves, and it is time to be open-handed in both your giving and receiving, Love is available and around you; it may even lie outside the traditional and/or politically correct boundaries. Allow yourself to fully participate in this energy flow that is clearly directed toward you.

The spotlight is now on the Ace of Pentacles, a triumph of integrity. Aligning with the best and highest allows you to “walk your talk” and serve as an inspiration to others if they choose to look up. This is the only ace in the deck that has no automatic blessings falling on others. This card appears to emphasize free will and choice. You triumph when you align your vibration with the best and highest. Truly, your investment of time and energy has paid off as you embody this alignment.

The spotlight is moving toward the Emperor, the gift of wisdom. Remember that wisdom is sometimes defined as intelligence + compassion. People are drawn to you because of this gift, a combination of intelligence and compassion, and you have learned to utilize it so that the truth can shine through on its own. This is the wisdom of the Biblical King Solomon, who when confronted by two women, each claiming to be the mother of a particular infant, declared,” Cut the child in half.” The true mother instantly gave up her claim so that the infant could live. This, in turn, resulted in everyone’s being able to see that she was, indeed, the real mother. The truth spoke for itself. Like Solomon, sometimes you need to say or do something outrageous so that the truth can reveal itself. You remain in power by not taking sides, by not reducing the exploration for the truth to simple yes/no questions.

The summary card is the seven of cups, the wish card. You have come to a place in your life, C.S., where you have earned the right to have what you want. The only drawback to this position is that now you must decide what that is. You could easily go into overwhelm; all the offerings look good, glory, fame, wealth, knowledge, power, riches, status, secrets. It is important to remember that there are no right or wrong choices here. The only mistake you could make would be NOT to choose or to choose in order to fulfill someone else’s expectations. Also, you are always entitled to change your mind. Ask for guidance in choosing what is most consistent with your highest and best vibration and which one(s) bring you the greatest joy. Nowhere is it written that you are limited to only one.

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.

3-Card Reading for B.B.

B.B. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” B.B. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two threes in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on B.B.’s expression. Because there is just one member of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is primarily B. B.’s everyday life rather than her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the ten of cups, the need for discernment as to with whom you will share. Whom will you include in your “inner circle”? Who deserves to be part of the intimate group and share in the blessings and benefits? Don’t just take for granted and/or devalue what goods and goodies you have received; make sure there is respect and trust among the members of this “family”. There is a message here to appreciate what is yours and to work in a fair exchange for your services and not under-value what you have to offer as well.

The spotlight is now on the World, also known as the Graduation Card. (Just a reminder, Facebook refuses to show  cards that depict nudity, so a blank has taken the place of the picture.)  This card always makes me happy and excited when it shows up. There you are, B.B., a diploma in each hand, the laurel wreath of victory surrounding your whole body, and a picture in each corner of the card representing the fixed signs of the zodiac, emphasizing the management of your life. You have raised your vibration high enough to be awarded a new set of guides, and you are able to receive, store, and transmit those higher frequencies yourself. You’ve got what it takes; now, you have to decide where you’re going to take it.

The spotlight has been moving toward the Page of Wands. Having taken the beginning steps along the path to mastery, you are allowing your skills and talents to lead the way. You are testing out the strength and flexibility of those skills and talents while dedicating them to leading you forward and lighting up your path, getting the job done. Congratulations, B.B., you’re on your way!

The summary card is the Knight of Swords, who has been told there is a dragon outside the castle. He (meaning you) grabs his sword, throws on his armor, jumps on his horse, and rides off in seventeen different directions at the same time. This scattering of your energies does not serve anyone well. Is there really a dragon? If so, is it your responsibility alone to slay it? Wouldn’t it make sense to plan some strategy before you expend all your energy, leaving yourself exhausted and vulnerable? You need to focus; think and plan before you act.

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.

3-Card Reading for M.G.

M.G. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” M.G. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are no two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers. nor any members of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is M.G.’s everyday life rather than her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime.

The spotlight has been on the three of cups, a time to celebrate. Look how far you’ve come, M.G.! You have been working very hard to identify and let go of that which no longer serves you. Now it is time to celebrate what you have chosen to be part of who you are. It is important to include others in your celebration so that you can show them the value of focusing on the good things, no matter how small, you/they have done, and being grateful for them. Remember, “thank you” means “keep it coming.”

The spotlight is now on the nine of swords, the nightmare card, one of the timing cards in the deck. This is like the experience of waking up at 2 A.M. and remembering that the car needs an oil change. You feel so much anxiety, like it’s all up to you, and you need to get it done NOW. Nobody’s open at this hour. It will all go much more easily and smoothly if you wait until the sun comes up and the timing is better. You will be better served by getting a good night’s rest at this time.

The spotlight is moving toward the five of wands, the freedom to make choices as far as your skills and talents are concerned.

The summary card is the seven of pentacles, the nostalgic gardener. This card appears when you get excessively sentimental about “the good old days,” when things were easier, simpler, or when you were younger and/or carefree. Please know that whatever you did in the past to make that plant you are gazing at grow up to be so strong and healthy, you are more than capable of achieving with the new growth at your feet. You are being encouraged to “Be here now” and invest all your energy in the present moment instead of spending time focusing on the past. There is also an element here of fear of the future/unknown. It just seems easier/safer to keep operating with what you’re used to instead of tackling something new. Take some time to meet with your future self so you can have the peace of knowing it will all work out.

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.

3-Card Reading for A.S.

A.S. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” A.S. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two fives (King=14=1+4=5), two swords, and two pentacles in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on A.S.’s freedom to make choices, values, prioities, and work, and mastery in resolving conflict. Because there are no members of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is A.S.’s everyday life rather than her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the five of swords, the freedom to make choices when faced with conflict. The lesson here is “The way to win is not to play.” Do not give your power away by letting anyone else tempt you into joining the fight. Raise your vibration by engaging your discernment and energizing your gratitude that you always have choices. A good question to ask is, “How can I change the way I am looking at this right now to feel better, to enjoy it more?”

The spotlight is now on the ten of pentacles, the need for discernment in choosing how much you will allow into your reality at any given time. What works best for you? There are no wrong answers: however, the boundaries that you set will determine who and what has access to you. Does your reality, like the young man’s, only include the safe, the sure, the practical, and the earthly? Are you more like the small child peeking out from behind his mother’s skirt? Are you like the young woman who sees the old man, the dogs, and the floating pentacles, or are you more like the old man who sees it all and is in touch with the animal kingdom as well? Your answer will dictate the breadth and depth of the information that will constitute your reality. so it is important to choose what is most appropriate for the moment and what will work best for you, especially at this time. There are new energies coming to Earth and new resources available to all humans.

The spotlight is moving toward the six of pentacles, the giving card. You are a very giving person, E.J., and you make an effort to give with fairness. The receiver in blue receives more than the receiver in yellow because he has shown he is capable of helping himself rather than just being dependent on the charity of others. However, the most important pentacle in the picture is the one over your head. You MUST take care of yourself first or you will have nothing left to give others. .

The summary card is the King of Swords, mastery in the area of resolving conflict. This card appears in a reading when you have earned the right to declare what will be done, what is, why, when, where, and how. If someone asks, “How come . . .?” you are entitled to reply, “Because I say so.” You have the authority to override the arguments and differing opinions. Contrast will still appear in your life, but it will be handled with grace and ease and will not slow you down.

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.

3-Card Reading for Q.L.

Q.L. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” Q.L. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are no two-or-more of-a-kind in suits or numbers and just one member of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is primarily Q.L.’s everyday life with only a slight connection to her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime.

The spotlight has been on the four of pentacles, .the foundation of your values. This card is sometimes called the Fiddler on the Roof. You have spent a great deal of time figuring out what you think, how you feel, and where you stand. The only problem with having done that is limiting yourself to values that lie outside of yourself. This leaves all your energy tied up and you stuck in a vulnerable spot on the roof. Go within and acknowledge your Divine Life Partner, the one who beats your heart and takes in your breath. Value yourself and the divine blueprint that directed your creation and sustains you. Then, you can come down to earth and be of service to the light within you.

The spotlight is now on the Tower, the complete destruction of what has been built up. The lightning strike can be anything from a sudden insight, like “I coulda had a V8” to the loss of a job, home, money, relationship, and/or a person. Looking at the placement of this card in the reading, the loss may be of what you used to think you wanted. The good news that comes with this card is that there is now nothing that stands in your way of building anew, something better and stronger.

The spotlight is moving toward the nine of swords, the nightmare card, one of the timing cards in the deck. Given the reading as a whole, it looks like the insight into your future path and the resolution of the heartaches may just happen while you are asleep. Get some rest; it will all resolve when the timing is right.

The summary card is the Knight of Cups, the fear of making a mistake. Please know that if any of that cup’s contents should spill, a resource is always close at hand; that’s a reassurance. The greater issue, however, is your agreement to be human, which means making mistakes, seeing them as a way to sharpen your focus, and using them to expand your reality. Doing otherwise limits your growth and opportunities, It’s all good, so lighten up and get going.

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.

3-Card Reading for Z.A.

Z.A. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” Z.A. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two cups in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on Z.A.’s feelings, emotions, relationships, ans psychic abilities. Because there is just one member of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is primarily Z.A.’s everyday life with just a slight connection to her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the nine of swords, the nightmare card, one of the timing cards in the deck. This is like the experience of waking up at 2 A.M. and remembering that the car needs an oil change. You feel so much anxiety, like it’s all up to you, and you need to get it done NOW. Given the reading as a whole, it looks like the insight into your future path and the resolution of the heartaches may just happen while you are asleep. Get some rest; it will all resolve when the timing is right.

The spotlight is now on Death, allowing the old form, the old way of doing things to die because it has outlived its usefulness. The new way has already begun as shown by the rising sun on the right side of the card. Thank and bless the old way, for it got you to this point in your life, and recognize and embrace the changes you have recently experienced that have opened up a brand new way of seeing, being, and participating in your life.

The spotlight is moving toward the five of cups, mourning what has been lost or you feel is now missing. This can be anything from a feeling of what you don’t have or feel you aren’t “enough” of to the loss of a friend, colleague, relative, home, job, finances, or a sense of satisfaction and/or well-being. Be gentle with yourself; feel the sadness, find out if you are holding any beliefs that are keeping it active, and then, let it go. Recognize that you are energizing “lack” by keeping your attention on it. Turn and feel gratitude for the two cups that are still standing and full.

3-Card Reading for B.F.

B.F. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” B.F. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two threes (knight=12=1+2=3) and swords in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on B.F.’s expression in resolving conflict. Because there are no members of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is B.F.’s everyday life rather than her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the Knight of Swords, who has been told there is a dragon outside the castle.

The energy is now on the seven of cups, the wish card.  You have come to a place in your life, B.F., where you have earned the right to have what you want.

The spotlight is moving toward the two of swords, over-defensiveness as a reaction to being hurt in the past. W.N.; this is keeping you stuck in the fear that the future won’t be any better than the past and that you might slip back into the drama triangle and become the victim/persecutor/rescuer that you have played before. Put down at least one of the swords, take off the blindfold, and see the situation as it really is, not how you are afraid it could be. The waters behind you are smooth and calm. That was then, and this is now.

The summary card is the three of cups,a time to celebrate. Look how far you’ve come, B.F.! You have been working very hard to identify and let go of that which no longer serves you. Now it is time to celebrate what you have chosen to be part of who you are. It is important to include others in your celebration so that you can show them the value of focusing on the good things, no matter how small, you/they have done, and being grateful for them. Remember, “thank you” means “keep it coming.” Taken as a whole, this reading encourages you to continue to keep your vibration high as you focus, locate and reinforce your commitment to the path you have chosen while you let go of that which no longer serves.

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.

3-Card Reading for E.J.

E.J. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” E.J. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two threes (knight=12=1+2=3) and two pentacles in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on E.J.’s expression of her/his values, priorities, and work. Because there is just one member of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is primarily E.J.’s everyday life with a slight connection to her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the six of penacles, the giving card. You are a very giving person, E.J., and you make an effort to give with fairness. The receiver in blue receives more than the receiver in yellow because he has shown he is capable of helping himself rather than just being dependent on the charity of others. However, the most important pentacle in the picture is the one over your head. You MUST take care of yourself first or you will have nothing left to give others. .

The spotlight is now on the Knight of Pentacles, sometimes called the Lone Ranger or the Loan Arranger. He rides into a situation, fixes the problem, and rides on, not even waiting for a thank you. He is well on his way to mastery but has paused to wonder if his present situation is “as good as it gets.” The answer is a resounding “NO!” Stop questioning the goods and goodies that are right there with you all the time. Does the statement, “You ain’t seen nothing yet,” sound exciting? There is much more to come.

The spotlight is moving toward Temperance, which doesn’t mean going without alcohol or using caution, but focuses on the process by which steel is made. Iron is used for strength and tin for flexibility. They are put through a very hot fire until they are forged as one product, steel, which is both strong and flexible. Your Higher Self has put you through some very hot fires to make you both strong and flexible, and you’ve made it. It will never be “that bad” again; the worst is over. Taking the reading as a whole, do you see how you are being guided on your path?

The summary card is the three of cups, a time to celebrate. Look how far you’ve come, E.J.!

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.

3-Card Reading for E.C.

E.C. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” E.C. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two two’s and two members of the Major Arcana  in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on E.C.’s choices, opposites, polarities, and partners in the realm of her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime, rather than on her/his eveyday life. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the eight of pentacles that emphasizes allowing the quality of your work to speak for itself. You do very high-quality work, E.C., and it is to your benefit to let others know what you offer. If there is any part of your “finished product” that you are still fine-tuning, please feel free to continue to work on it; just don’t put it on display yet. Sometimes this card indicates going into business for yourself; it always encourages you to “do your own thing,” value your uniqueness, and respect the unique nature of each and every other individual.

The spotlight is now on Judgement, which replaces all the lower energies of judgment, which are just fancy names for name-calling. If you are able to replace all judgements with discernment, discernment never makes anyone “wrong,” so you by-pass the frequencies of attack/defend, challenge, and disagreement. You are able to sound the vibration of Love, which is the highest vibration in the universe and to which everything responds.

The spotlight is moving toward the Hierophant, sometimes called the High Priest. This card represents the gift of Intuition. You have access to higher knowing. You are in a position of responsibility, and others come to you for help and advice. The “five” vibration of this card represents the freedom to make choices. Be careful to share only the words that will be of benefit to the listener. Do not share all you know; nobody needs to hear all that. If you “guard your words,” what you say will be a blessing both to you and to the listener. All the fives in the tarot deck speak of choosing, and this one shows up to remind you that whatever you put your attention on tends to attract more of the same, so it behooves you to raise your vibration and , once again, use your discernment.

The summary card is the two of cups, sometimes called the friendship card. E.C., you don’t do anything halfway; you go “all in” at every step of the journey. This is why your relationships are 100/100 instead of 50/50. Please know that there are others in your life right now who play by the same set of rules. They may not be the same age, gender, race, or social class as you, but they are willing to meet and interact with you as peers.

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.
