3-Card Reading for V.D.

V.D. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” V.D. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two members of the Major Arcana in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on V.D.’s soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the Fool, who bears the numeral O, a symbol of the Void, the repository from which all manifestation arises. The Universe has assembled all the cooperative components of your dream, and all you have to do is step off the cliff and commit to owning that dream for the sleeves of your garment to turn into wings so that you can fly. This card carries the message, “Follow your dream; you will be sustained.” .

The spotlight is now on the Chariot, time to abandon the vehicle that brought you to this place because it has stopped working. Thank it for its service and find a new vehicle in which to continue the journey.

The spotlight is moving toward the four of pentacles, the foundation of your values. This card is sometimes called the Fiddler on the Roof. You have spent a great deal of time figuring out what you think, how you feel, and where you stand. The only problem with having done that is limiting yourself to values that lie outside of yourself. This leaves all your energy tied up and you stuck in a vulnerable spot on the roof. Go within and acknowledge your Divine Life Partner, the one who beats your heart and takes in your breath. Value yourself and the divine blueprint that created you and sustains you. Then, you can come down to earth and be of service to the light within you.

The summary card is the nine of wands, putting all your eggs in one basket. You are multi-talented, R,H., but you have been leaning heavily on just one of your many skills and talents, temporarily turning your back on the others. This has caused you injury. It’s time to pick up at least one more of your wands to help you deal with anything you find on your chosen path. Not just relying on one will bring you ease and happiness. This is the second nine in the reading and the second caution to not turn your back on what you have achieved.

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.

3-Card Reading for S.D.

S.D. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” S.D. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two sevens and two swords in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on finding answers to resolving conflict. Because there are no members of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is S.D.’s everyday life rather than her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the three of cups, a time to celebrate. Look how far you’ve come, S.D.! You have been working very hard to identify and let go of that which no longer serves you. Now it is time to celebrate what you have allowed to be part of who you are. It is important to include others in your celebration so that you can show them the value of focusing on the good things, no matter how small, you/they have done, and being grateful for them. Remember, “thank you” means “keep it coming.”

The spotlight is now on the seven of pentacles, the nostalgic gardener. This card appears when you get excessively sentimental about “the good old days,” when things were easier, simpler, or when you were younger and/or carefree. Please know that whatever you did in the past to make that plant you are gazing at grow up to be so strong and healthy, you are more than capable of achieving with the new growth at your feet. You are being encouraged to “Be here now” and invest all your energy in the present moment instead of spending time focusing on the past. There is also an element here of fear of the future/unknown. It just seems easier/safer to keep operating with what you’re used to instead of tackling something new. Take some time to meet with your future self so you can have the peace of knowing it will all work out.

The spotlight is moving toward the seven of swords, de-escalating the conflict. This is accomplished by “chunking down” the number of points of conflict by deciding what can be removed at once, what can be removed later, and what, even though it is by definition part of the problem, can be temporarily ignored because it cannot hurt you. By reducing the points of contention to two, you have a good chance of avoiding aggressive behavior on anyone’s part, and the odds are increased for reaching a compromise. The situation is no longer overwhelming, nor is a major battle inevitable.

The summary card is the King of Swords, mastery in the area of resolving conflict. This card appears in a reading when you have earned the right to declare what will be done, what is, why, when, where, and how. If someone asks, “How come . . .?” you are entitled to reply, “Because I say so.” You have the authority to override the arguments and differing opinions. Contrast will still appear in your life, but it will be handled with grace and ease and will not slow you down. Good luck, S.D.

3-Card Reading for E.M.

E.M. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” E.M. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two fours and two members of the Major Arcana in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on establishing a new foundation as part of  advancing E.M.’s soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-or-more -of-a-kind in numbers or suits.

The spotlight has been on the two of wands, staying in your comfort zone or taking a risk. You are at a fork in the road where you must choose to either play it safe and choose the slower earthly vibrations, or take a risk and move onward and upward utilizing your skills and talents. The extra wand in back of you speaks to your being able to do more than you realize, and you’re being urged to “go for it.” Take hold of your skills and talents and let them lead and support you in this next phase of your growth and development.

The spotlight is now on the Emperor, the gift of wisdom. Remember that wisdom is sometimes defined as intelligence + compassion. People are drawn to you because of this gift, a combination of intelligence and compassion, and you have learned to utilize it so that the truth can shine through on its own. This is the wisdom of the Biblical King Solomon, who when confronted by two women, each claiming to be the mother of a particular infant, declared,” Cut the child in half.” The true mother instantly gave up her claim so that the infant could live. This, in turn, resulted in everyone’s being able to see that she was, indeed, the real mother. The truth spoke for itself. Like Solomon, sometimes you need to say or do something outrageous so that the truth can reveal itself. You remain in power by not taking sides, by not reducing the exploration for the truth to simple yes/no questions.

The spotlight is moving toward the Empress, unlimited creativity. You’ve always been able to put things together in new and different ways, E.M., and you’ve taken it for granted your whole life. No, this is not something everyone else can do; this is a gift. Thinking “outside the box” has sometimes prompted you to say and do some outrageous things. You tend to let go of what you create to live or die on its own, and you are not usually available to patiently nurture what you’ve given birth to. A commitment to having fun and a good sense of humor usually accompany this gift as well. Enjoy it!

The summary card is the four of cups, ignoring or being unaware of an opportunity that is being offered to establish a new foundation. Sitting with your eyes downcast and your arms crossed over your heart so that you don’t get hurt again, you make zero progress. Please lift your eyes, raise your vibration, take the cup, and drink deeply. If somewhere down the road, you change your mind and want something else, by all means, go for it. Doing nothing is not an enlightened choice. Taken as a whole, this reading urges you to act, to move in a new direction, to be aware that playing it safe is not the wisest choice at this time.  In fact, it will prolong your journey unnecessarily. The second card directs you to the wisest way to “play it safe.” Be brave; you didn’t come all this way to pospone your effectiveness and your mastery.  It’s time to go for it. Good luck, E.M.

3-Card Reading for C.H.

C.H. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” C.H . has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two nines in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on C.H.’s wisdom and higher understanding.  Becasue there is only one member of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is primarily C.H.’s everyday life with only a slight connection to her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the nine of cups, wisdom and higher understanding of your feelings, emotions, relationships, and psychic abilities. You have accumulated a veritable treasure chest of those items. However, you have placed all of them on a shelf and turned your back on them. It is time to give, to share, to put one or more of them into play as you get up off the bench and continue on your path. It’s time to “try it out.” Let go of the fear of making a mistake and the self-doubt. It’s time to turn the potentials into reality.

The spotlight is now on the King of Wands, mastery of the skills and talents. It looks like you have been spending some time and, effort on keeping your skills and talents up-to-date and consistently strong. You are very good at what you do, and you do it without ego involvement; you are willing to share your throne with the king of the salamanders. You inspire others, and even though you sit on the throne, your skills and talents are firmly planted in the real down-to-earth world. You have helped many people and will continue to do so.

The spotlight is moving toward the nine of swords, the nightmare card, one of the timing cards in the deck. This is like the experience of waking up at 2 A.M. and remembering that the car needs an oil change. You feel so much anxiety, like it’s all up to you, and you need to get it done NOW. Nobody’s open at this hour. It will all go much more easily and smoothly if you wait until the sun comes up and the timing is better. You will be better served by getting a good night’s rest at this time. Be sure to ask if the conflict is yours to handle before you engage with it.

The summary card is the Lovers, the gift of healing. What a beautiful gift you have been given, C.H. You will notice that the connection in this relationship is through the angel, not between the two people. You hold the space to give people the permission and the support to heal themselves if that is what they choose to do. The healing comes through you but not from you. You are a receiver, a container, and a transmitter of the Light. Good luck, C.H.

3-Card Reading for C.S.

C.S. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.”C.S. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two fives and two members of the Major Arcana, so we know that the conext for the requested insight lies in the freedom to make choices in the soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the five of swords. the freedom to make choices when faced with conflict. The lesson here is “The way to win, is not to play.” Do not give your power away by letting anyone else tempt you into joining the fight. Raise your vibration by engaging your discernment and energizing your gratitude that you always have choices. A good question to ask is, “How can I change the way I am looking at this right now to feel better, to enjoy it more?”

The spotlight is now on the Hermit, the archetype of wisdom and higher understanding. Your focus has been on carrying the light to the top of the mountain, illuminating a path so that others can follow if that is their choice. You have shown them the way. The only drawback to this position is that it can be very lonely at the top, You march to a different drummer and have spent large amounts of time by yourself. You have a high degree of integrity, which is sometimes beyond what everyone else can understand.

The spotlight is moving toward the Ace of Cups, a triumph of being. People enjoy spending time with you, C.S., and it’s not necessarily because of anything you say or do; it’s because of who you are. The Light that you carry causes blessings to fall into the lives of those near you because you give with the overflow. You bless and inspire others; you are an uplifter who encourages others to be more of who they really are.

The summary card is Temperance, which doesn’t mean going without alcohol or using caution, but focuses on the process by which steel is made. Iron is used for strength and tin for flexibility. They are put through a very hot fire until they are forged as one product, steel, which is both strong and flexible. Your Higher Self has put you through some very hot fires to make you both strong and flexible, and you’ve made it. It will never be “that bad” again; the worst is over. Taking the reading as a whole, do you see how you are being guided on your path? Good luck, C.S.

3-Card Reading for R.S.

R.S. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” R.S. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are three fives and two members of the Major Arcana in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses heavily on R.S.’s free will in establishing and/or choosing her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the five of cups, mourning who or what has been lost or you feel is now missing. This can be anything from a feeling of what you don’t have or feel you aren’t “enough” of to the loss of a friend, colleague, relative, home, job, finances, or a sense of satisfaction and/or well-being. Be gentle with yourself; feel the sadness, find out if you are holding any beliefs that are keeping it active, and then, let it go. Recognize that you are energizing “lack” by keeping your attention on it. Turn and feel gratitude for the two cups that are still standing and full.

The spotlight is now on the five of pentacles, going within instead of going without.  Resource is always at hand.  All the fives in the tarot deck speak of choosing, and this one shows up to remind you that you need not continue to suffer and be miserable.  Remember that whatever you put your attention on tends to attract more of the same, so it behooves you to raise your vibration and look up, so you can see what is right within your reach that can help.

The spotlight is moving toward the Hierophant, sometimes called the High Priest. This card represents the gift of Intuition. You have access to higher knowing. You are in a position of responsibility, and others come to you for help and advice. The “five” vibration of this card represents the freedom to make choices. Be careful to share only the words that will be of benefit to the listener. Do not share all you know; nobody needs to hear all that. If you “guard your words,” what you say will be a blessing both to you and to the listener.

The summary card is the Sun, a whole brand new beginning. It is, once more, the perfect card to start the new year. You enter this next phase of your life’s journey, open and vulnerable, having been “around the block” a few times and retaining the wisdom and discernment gained from the earlier cycles. The sun shines on you, and you know your own value and worth. Welcome to your future, R.S. Taken as a whole, this reading emphasizes the free will we have used to select our soul’s agenda before we enter a particular incarnation.  This reading is rreminding you, R.S., that you set it all up. It looks like it’s time to amend the contract. Good luck, R.S.

3-Card Reading for P.H.

P.H. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.”P.H. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two swords in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on P.H.’s resolving conflict. Because there is just one member of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is primarily P.H.’s everyday life rather than her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the Knight of Swords, who has been told there is a dragon outside the castle. He (meaning you) grabs his sword, throws on his armor, jumps on his horse, and rides off in seventeen different directions at the same time. This scattering of your energies does not serve anyone well. Is there really a dragon? If so, is it your responsibility alone to slay it? Wouldn’t it make sense to plan some strategy before you expend all your energy, leaving yourself exhausted and vulnerable? You need to focus; think and plan before you act.

The spotlight is now on the Five of swords, the freedom to make choices when faced with conflict. The lesson here is “The way to win, is not to play.” Do not give your power away by letting anyone else tempt you into joining the fight. Raise your vibration by engaging your discernment and energizing your gratitude that you always have choices. This card carries the message, “Follow your dream; you will be sustained.”

The summary card is the eight of cups, being dissatisfied with the feelings, emotions, relationships, and psychic abilities you have accumulated, turning your back on it/them, and going off to find more. If you are in a mindset of lack, you cannot manifest anything but more lack. It’s time to turn around and truly appreciate what you have in place, which allows you to manifest from a state of abundance and attract more. Look how far you’ve come!  Thisis the time of year to focus (Card 1), not be distraced (Card 2), and commit yourself  to taking the next step toward following your dream (Card 3).  Good luck, P.H.

3-Card Reading for A.D.

A.D. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” A.D. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are three knights  in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on A.D.’s expressing (knight=12=1+2=3) the full-blown manifestations of the qualities held in three out of the four suits on her/his journey toward mastery. Because there is just one member of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is primarily A,D.’s everyday life rather than her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.  There is a rare occurrence, where three out of a possible four  knights have shown up.  It implies that the missing fourth Knight of Cups is importantly not at issue.

The spotlight is now on the Knight of Pentacles, sometimes called the Lone Ranger or the Loan Arranger. He rides into a situation, fixes the problem, and rides on, not even waiting for a thank you. He is well on his way to mastery but has paused to wonder if his present situation is “as good as it gets.” The answer is a resounding “NO!” Stop questioning the goods and goodies that are right there with you all the time. Does the statement, “You ain’t seen nothing yet,” sound exciting? There is much more to come.

The spotlight is moving toward the Hermit, the archetype of wisdom and higher understanding.

The summary card is the  Knight of Wands, who wonders if he has enough strength, stamina, talent, and time to make it to the goal he has set for himself. He worries about being able to finish the job. This card shows up to tell you that you have more than enough strength, stamina. talent, and time to make it to mastery. Please put aside the worry and concern. You have enough; you are enough; you are loved and supported.  Good luck, A.D.

3-Card Reading for M.R.

M.R. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” M.R. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two threes (21=2+1=3) and three members of the Major Arcana in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on M.R.’s  expression of her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the World, also known as the Graduation Card. This card always makes me happy and excited when it shows up. There you are, M.R., a diploma in each hand, the laurel wreath of victory surrounding your whole body, and a picture in each corner of the card representing the fixed signs of the zodiac, emphasizing the management of your life. You have raised your vibration high enough to be awarded a new set of guides, and you are able to receive, store, and transmit those higher frequencies yourself. You’ve got what it takes; now, you have to decide where you’re going to take it.

The spotlight is now on the three of pentacles, which urges you to work with others who are like-spirited in creating a group effort/production rather than tackling it all by yourself. Put in your unique and valuable contribution and own it as part of a larger offering. This allows you to expand your self-definition as you function both as an individual and as a member of a group. This helps you remember more of who you really are,

The spotlight is moving toward the Magiician, that’s you, M.R. You make magic happen by channeling energies from the higher realms and getting them to manifest here on Earth. On the table in front of you are the symbols of the four suits of the tarot; use some discernment in choosing the right tool to get the job done in the best and highest way. Consider the new perspective brought to you by the first and second cards, and resist the urge to act as a sole practitioner as shown in the second card.

Good luck, M.R.

3-Card Reading for K.H.

K.H. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me some insight into __________.” K.H. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. If we include the summary card, there are two cups in this mini-reading, so we know that this request for insight focuses on K.H.’s feelings, emotions, relationships, and psychic abilities. Because there are no members of the Major Arcana, the context for these insights is K.H.’s everyday life rather than her/his soul’s agenda for this lifetime. There are no other two-of-a-kind or more in suits or numbers.

The spotlight has been on the six of swords, a card of service and healing. You are attempting to move the boat from the rough water into the smooth, so you must not bear down on the points of conflict, or you will sink the boat. Have compassion for yourself for having chosen to deal with the ones who see themselves as victims, having suffered the hurts, and have compassion for the one or ones who caused it as you move the boat to safety. Keep it light.

The spotlight is now on the Queen of Wands, the Sunflower Queen, who hides her light behind a black cat that she uses to keep people at a distance. She never lets anyone get too close, and if things turn out less than anyone’s idea of good, much less perfect, she blames the cat. This winds up with her playing the role of instigator and excuse-maker at the same time. This card appears when it is time to fire the cat, become more authentic in your interactions with others, and let your light shine enough for the sunflower to turn and face you. You are good enough, strong enough, wise enough, and able to ignore public opinion enough to be genuine.

The spotlight is moving toward the Page of Cups, taking the first steps on the path to mastery in the area of feelings, emotions, relationships, and psychic abilities. When this card appears, it means you have begun a new relationship, K.H. Your feet are planted firmly on the earth, and you are steady and balanced, holding the cup easily in one hand and not at all flustered by the fish that jumps out of it. Clearly, this cup contains life-supporting water that will feed your soul. This card carries the master number of 11, a powerful visionary vibration.

Does this make sense? I hope it was helpful.
